At the North Star Centre we regard the restoration and renewal of ourselves as inseparable from that of the world around us.
Rather than regarding that world as ‘nature’ and us as something other, part of our commitment is to building an awareness of ourselves as an integral part of that natural world.
In stewarding the beautiful land in which the North Star Centre is held we are also restoring ourselves.
Finding our way into connection with those secrets, the rhythms and principles of the natural world, is a key part of uncovering the magic in ourselves. Re-membering we are a part of nature is key to finding our way forward.

The foundation for this is to restore mind, body and spirit.
From a place of depletion and the busyness of daily life it is hard to have the spaciousness into which to unfold enough to listen to our deepest yearnings and wisdom.

Penny Jerram
I spent years working in a variety of different roles, capable but unfulfilled. When I became a mother my life changed beyond recognition and I found a fulfilment I had never known. Supporting my children to be the most amplified expression of themselves they could be has been my commitment to them. As my children have got older I have widened my attention to supporting others to do the same. Beyond skills and capabilities my alignment is to love and life and supporting others to find that too.
My passion is how to help others to find the fullest expression of themselves; how to find your North Star and live your gifts into the world for the benefit of all. Or maybe you already know and are living your gifts but you need time and space to rest and renew, align and amplify.

I have often been a pioneer in what I do, forging a healing path in difficult circumstances where the way was not clear. I am committed to supporting others to do the same, finding a truth that is bigger than our current version of what is possible. I have spent a decade running experiential, in person transformational experiences, drawing on indigenous wisdom. I have also run global online and in person women’s groups, connecting us to our inner wisdom, working with the cycles within and around us. In person or online the goal has been to develop our intuition, connect with our higher purpose and manifest our gifts fully into the world.

Building Sweat lodge structure
5th & 6th October
We will be building a new sweat lodge frame on the land the weekend before Sal arrives. If you would like to join us to help construct the frame that would be fabulous! The days will run from 9.30 to approximately 4pm. Do join us for the day or part of it if you can. We will be harvesting the willow near Blackboys, Halland, on Friday 4th October. Do let me know if you have capacity to help with the harvest and and transporting the willow.

Join local landscape artist Riga Forbes for a day long workshop immersion in nature, connecting with your creative spark through guided mindfulness and movement practices. We will engage with deepest states of consciousness that can open us up to the benevolent natural energy of the land.

Writer's Residency
What are the stories that we tell ourselves? Where do we put our attention and with it our energy? The stories we tell ourselves and each other, about ourselves, our environment and what is possible affect every aspect of our wellbeing. This is a time for new narratives that foster hope, resilience and healing, within and between us.
Knowing that the stories we tell are critical to our sense of agency, possibility and hope, we are committed to supporting writers who are aligned with birthing a new truth in relation to what is possible. One anchored in amplifying human potential. To this end we are offering a writers residency to aligned projects.
